Pune International Airport (IATA: PNQ, ICAO: VAPO), also called Pune Airport, is the international airport of the Indian state of Maharashtra. Located in the north east part of Pune city, this airport operates both with domestic and with international flights. Between Pune Airport and Pune city centre there are around 10 km.

The Government of the state of Maharashtra started a new project to expand Pune Airport due to its growing passenger demand. Even they have made many proposals to continue with this project, the administration in charge of the project is still studying the location and the features of this new future Pune Airport Terminal.
